Our work in the Branch is funded entirely by donations, grants and the proceeds of local fundraising initiatives. For over 35 years, thanks to the generosity of individuals, groups and organisations in the local community , we have been able to keep providing emotional and practical support to local people affected by MND as well as supporting MNDA’s national campaigns and research projects.

Whatever the amount – every bit helps us make a difference to people affected by MND in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland..

How to donate

You can …

  • Send a cheque ( made out to the MND Association ) to the Branch Treasurer.
  • Pay directly by Bacs ( contact us for details)
  • Set up a regular standing order.
  • Give online through “JustGiving.” or other fundraising platforms (See link below)
  • Text to donate

JustGiving makes online fundraising simple, fast and effective. It means your donations, and fundraising get to us quicker so your money can be used to make a difference immediately for the MND Association or the local branch. You can pay sponsor money directly on the page or make a donation at any time. JustGiving is 100% secure and they guarantee not to sell or share your personal details. They won’t try to sell you anything either, so, like many charities, we trust them to make it easier for people to support our cause.

Donations made through the JustGiving link below will automatically be forwarded to the MNDA Leicestershire and Rutland Branch.

Please note – if you are setting up your own fundraising page on Just Giving or another fundraising platform and would like the money you raise to come to the Leicestershire and Rutland Branch, you must specify this on your fundraising page and all associated publicity. For more information, please contact Rebekah Grycuk, our Branch Treasurer.)
