Open and Branch Meetings Update 2010 

Branch Open Meetings are an opportunity for anyone interested in or affected by MND to meet other branch members, keep in touch with old friends and find out more about MND and the Association We are planning to hold meetings every two months at different venues.

Family & Friends Meetings - held at 7 Snow Hill, Leicester starting at 7.30pm:

Open to all carers, friends and family of those living with Motor Neurone Disease.

There will be guest speakers from Speech & Language Therapist, Occupational Therapist,  Specialist Respiratory Nurse,  Dietitian, District Nurse,  Hospice Nurse and Complementary Therapist.  Open to all people caring for a connected to people with Motor Neurone Disease.

The dates for 2010 are:

January 13th, July 14th

February 10th, August 18th, 

March 17th, September 22nd,

April 14th, October 20th,

May 12th, November 17th 

June 16th, December 15th

Events:

Past Carers Meetings:

A chance to meet up with people who have cared for someone with MND, or been associated with or family of. Get together to have a chat, get something off your chest – or simply time out.

The next meeting is to be held at:

Heathley Park, Groby Road, Leicester

Tuesday 26^th January 2010 at 7.30pm

A post-christmas meeting to have a drink and bite to eat.
